I'm in a weird space at the moment because it looks a lot like I'll be retraining soon but I can't just wind down the business or start shifting my content yet because capitalism and I need to actually qualify (in 3+ years...).

Knowing how to organise my online life, especially regarding work at the moment is a nightmare.

Every few years I try to rethink what it means to share my work online, and give the website a bit of a cut and polish. I always feel like I'm fighting gravity.

This week I've focused on the home page, and trying to make it easy for someone to find something they might be interested in. 25 years of work has gone into it, you'd hope there's a little treat for most folks hidden away in there.

The amount of work some organisations expect you to do BEFORE they'll sign a contract with you is genuinely shocking. To be clear - I never charge for preparing a quote, and I'm always happy to do some prep work for free, but seriously, I get asked to do DAYS of my actual job before I have a guarantee of payment.

I like #old #school things, how we did it in the past. I did not stay behind, but new things must proof themself.

For me #respect needs to be earned and is not given for free. I am only interested in people that esteem me and so do I.
