I had some time to make another #zentangle drawing last night. It was on a pre-coloured tile which I had painted with watercolours a few weeks ago. Tangle Tile No. 172 - Springtime Evening.
Fluid square 9x9cm on Original cardstock, pre-coloured with red, yellow and green watercolours.
Includes: Hokusi, Poke Root, Hollis, Printemps

In February I joined my annual Make-A-Thing-A-Day group that gathers on FB. I bought supplies and spent the month playing around with Zentangle tiles, neurographic art, and a new set of watercolor magic markers (which are the bomb!). All low energy and very manageable.

With the new meds and the progress I'm making, I hope to make it back to the pottery by summer, but until then, I'm having fun!

I treated myself to a lovely hardback Zentangle HQ journal a few months ago and I had been sitting looking at it for ages thinking it was a shame to sully its pristine pages. Which is of course ridiculous! So on Christmas Eve I made a start 😁
It’s going to be my travelling tangle journal that I take with me when I’m away from home. It may take a while to fill…

The Fresh Start of Bel Aire

#Introduction post for my new account, now that my old server is closing down and basically forcing my hand.

This is an account primarily for learning to art better, after a gap of several years due to burning out in animation school because of #ADHD denial and a crisis of confidence. Got rid of my drawing desk, threw out old sketchbooks, the whole bit.

Now I'm starting from scratch, focusing on entirely different sorts of art than I'd done before, and finding that I like it much better. Mostly I'm focusing on #Zentangle and #WatercolourPencil

A Crafty Capricorn

Hello World,
Mastodon was recommended as a nice place to meet other crafters so I’m giving it a whirl. I am a slow learner when it comes to techy things so any tips to navigate this space are appreciated.

These are my cankles at the beach earlier today while I was getting in some sun and working on a shawl for my sister.
