We need to understand that economic growth is still required for many people to enjoy a sustainable, comfortable life, while economic #degrowth is overdue for many people who are enjoying an unsustainably privileged lifestyle.

We need to #FlattenTheCurve.

@evacide : we've seen that in NL happen too, a manager of a well known TV program publicly asking why women did/do not speak up (or report it) when men (in his TV show) tried to, or actually did, abuse them (nltimes.nl/2024/06/12/rapper-a).

It's not women who are the problem, men are.

We (people) have brains that we can and must use to control any instinctive impulses.

After all, we ("straight" men) also use our brains to determine whether *we* find it acceptable if someone else "comes to close" - in particular if it is another male.

We ("straight" men) should ask ourselves how we'd react if another man treated us the way we plan to treat a woman.

It's not hard, just do it.

He is accused of two counts of sexual assault and two counts of rape of three women. All sexual contact was consensual and never under duress, the rapper said. A man was arrested in court for disrupting the trial shortly after it started.
