Tonight’s drink adventure: Used the Shaker and Spoon Mission to Margs kit to make Playa Paraiso margaritas - with tequila, and with CleanCo Clean T non alcoholic tequila. Overall review: this kit makes fantastic drinks. Everyone enjoyed the flavor. Secondary review, everyone preferred the drinks with real tequila. Still, if you aren’t drinking any alcohol, I could do the NA stuff. It doesn’t taste like the real thing, but it’s more fun than going without. #cocktails #mocktails #ShakerAndSpoon

Booze Japanese Rum

Adding to this old thread with a finally opened Iejima #rum - another from the same #Okinawa island as the previous - different distillery. Picked it up same as the others in Naha - an agricole this one.
Oh it's grassy nose w a somewhat off vegetal smell (from the lily?). Not hogo but different (not in a particularly good way) tried neat. Very nice Ti punch tho - w dilution (even tho its just 37%) & sweetness it's lovely, I get a jasmine lychee notes

Sometimes vintage/antique finds come in stages. I found this unusual paddle and knew I wanted to make it into an amaro flight sampler. This meant searching for small, low glasses with a large foot. They aren't easy to find. Most of these type of glasses have a small foot. It's also hard to find them with unchipped rims.
