A bad animal rights group, USPol

TIL that the so-called "Animal Wellness Action" group, which claims to support animal welfare and animal rights, is terrible.

Here's a blog post they just made about how much they love Donald Trump's proposed "Department of Government Efficiency." Do they really think repealing all environmental regulations will be so great for animals?

Think you know all about #spycops incitement and entrapment? Wait till you hear the story of Undercover Officer (UCO) Matt Rayner who spied on the #AnimalRights movement from 1991-1996

As @tombfowler is constantly documenting the #spycops inquiry elsewhere in real time, he's not yet active here.

It is recommend you follow his live tweets, instant reaction vids and daily roundups at x.com/tombfowler

So, a friend shared this with me.... my thoughts? While it is important to discuss the dark side of breeding, I find it hard to believe it is inherently unethical to have a therapy dog... and yes, we rely on nonhumans A LOT, but it isn't so black and white. Also, intersectionality is really important! Like, come on... the climate crisis is more pressing than dogs being used as therapists. instagram.com/reel/C-ecuQ_q52Z
