Oh and something interesting I noticed first time I tried Waydroid without GAPPS (Google Apps) was that BankID whined that it NEEDS Google Play Services!
So I reinstalled Waydroid with GAPPS but never logged in to Google. Then I installed F-Droid, then Aurora Store through that, then installed BankID through Aurora Store anonymously.
When starting BankID again the errors where gone and I was able to use the app as far as I could without GPS and NFC

Huge news! I solved the issue with audio crackling in Waydroid by replacing Pulseaudio with Pipewire! Why Pulseaudio is still being default at this point is beyond me!

Finally managed to forward GPS position into #WayDroid and can now use @CoMaps on #postmarketOS

ya instalé todo eso en una VM (#Waydroid) con LineageOS, habilitando la Device Registration con varias de las opciones disponibles, pero no me funcionan las apps bancarias, algunas ni siquiera me aparecen en Aurora Store para instalar, y otras al abrir fallan con error del tipo "tu dispositivo no es seguro".
veo que el #SafetyNet de #microg tira "integrity check failed". supongo que ese es el problema. no sé si si será más fácil hacer pasar el SafetyNet desde un celular real

@irenebal Ik wil helemaal geen gebruik maken van Android (hoewel een volledige #opensource-versie misschien acceptabel zou kunnen zijn voor me, als #privacy is gewaarborgd). Ik wil kunnen bankieren zonder #appdwang. De #digipas en #browsercode vind ik wel acceptabel. Ik heb er geen probleem mee om een browser naar keuze te kunnen gebruiken.
Ik zou eens kunnen proberen of ik de app in #WayDroid werkend zou kunnen krijgen.
Ik hoop dat de @belastingdienst voldoende geduld heeft ;-)

Rooting #Android works well, even registering VCam for the specific app seems to work but I cant get the video stream to show up :( Maybe not the correct video resolution or codec?

Cool new feature with the #Waydroid update to #Android 13: Support to configure screen lock. This will bring support to a lot more Android apps on #postmarketOS which require screen lock as a security measure 
Just tested it with the Interrail app, I'm now able to add my travel pass

#Waydroid could be a stopgap.
What's funny is that android is so bloated (12gb of system files), that running waydroid within pmOS takes less storage space.
#OSMand seemed impressively responsive on waydroid.
But the RAM usage of all the android components is huge. Still useable, but huge. I saw memory usage shoot from 0.8GB to 2.5GB
Ik wilde Stick War Legacy installeren, maar dat is een #Android spel.
Onder #Linux kan je dan #Waydroid installeren om een hele Android omgeving inclusief Google Play Store in te richten. Indrukwekkend, maar om dat te laten werken moet je #Wayland als window manager gebruiken, en dat is nog experimenteel onder #Cinnamon, de desktop manager die ik gebruik.
Als ik het goed begrepen heb..

@fell @Torx Speaking about GPS. I tried @organicmaps via #waydroid or @openstreetmap Flathub, but neither app allows to detect my location.
What is your experience with navigation apps?
