Today is a good day to spot unserious people.
Yesterday, demanding that #Democrats filibuster the #Republican #ContinuingResolution could be motivated by one of two opposite reasons: 1) pressure the party to unite behind a single tactic; 2) amplify division over the tactics.
Now that the filibuster didn't happen, ripping into Democrats who refused to do it can only be motivated by reason #2. These are not serious people.
Serious people are moving on to the next opportunity to unite us.

Asked about the #ContinuingResolution, which includes $100 billion in disaster relief for areas hit hard by hurricanes Helene and Milton, Congressman Burlinson declared, "it's a total dumpster fire."
Just hours before a potential #GovernmentShutdown, #Republicans & #Democrats in the #Senate passed a 45-day #ContinuingResolution w/ #DisasterRelief funds, an extension of a federal #FloodInsurance program & #FAA reauthorization — but no #Ukraine #aid. Saturday’s passage in the #Senate ended a weeks-long #House debate over govt #funding…. The #Senate eventually ditched its own #stopgap #bill to pass a #House version.
The Senate vote was 88-9.
As for the #ContinuingResolution, #Blumenthal said no #Senate #Democrats indicated they were going to vote against it over its lack of funding for #Ukraine. He expects a vote on the #House-passed CR w/in the next few hours.
