Mostly I’m focused on getting the proportions, layout, pose/attitude, final design figured out. I still have work to do on the lighting, final color in oil. it’s hard to color match & soften edges in acrylics the way it dries so fast. I’d like to try golden open if I ever have spare $$$ get 4 or 5 of my main colors I use.
FYI this painting is using Payne’s grey, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, White, & a tiny bit of Magenta.
That’s it. I love a limited palette.

I had used metallic gold paint at first which looked good, then applied gold leaf to make the emergency blanket she is wearing, but it was hard to apply well and it didn’t seem to stick well enough, so didn’t look good, and I painted over in non metallic ochre oil paint. I might try to add metallic gold oil paint later.
I did a full under painting in acrylic.
