I'm loving this new ink, and I thought it might work well in this pattern. It turned out so well that I decided to try it on watercolor paper.
And that's a wrap for this month's daily #inkyDays drawings.
They're all posted for my supporters on Patreon and ko-fi:

I love how yesterday's #inkyDays drawing turned out, so I drew some on watercolor paper and added them to my shop. It's a spiral of ants with words between the ants that read "Move slow and make wonderful things".

While working on a big piece, I kept thinking about how slowing down is the only way I avoid mistakes that ruin my work. When drawing, by hand, in ink, there is no 'undo'. If I make a mistake, the piece is ruined and I cut it up into scrap paper.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
So, in today's #inkyDays drawing, I incorporated the thought I posted recently: "slow down and make wonderful things". The ants agree.
I'm loving this ink. It's so complex! I'm experimenting with using it with my little fish motif in today's #inkyDays drawing. I also tried it with my calming floral pattern on watercolor paper.
I also made some good progress on this large piece I've been working on recently. Lots of drawing today.

Last Thursday, I ran my first creative coding workshop for older kids and teens (ages 12-16) at the Darling Square Library Makerspace. I was amazed to see what they all created in just two hours! Here are some examples.
Today's #inkyDays drawing certainly reflects today's mood. And no, the ants are not pleased, either. At least the ink is lovely!

I woke up super early this morning, the one year anniversary of the Cancer surgery that saved my life. Also, apparently, today is #WorldPenguinDay. So, I drew penguins holding up protest signs that read "ffck cancer" and "ffck fascists" for today's #inkyDays drawing.
Here is some art I made using my phone and code that I wrote in #p5js. All images were from a single seed, and involved a lot of direct control to create them. It is my alternative to doomscrolling in bed.
I'm loving this combination of inks and pattern! Drew some on watercolor paper and added them to my shop.

Playing with a combination of orange inks in today's #inkyDays drawing. I liked it so much that I tried it on watercolor paper, and even started an attempt at drawing them as nodes in a network.
Here's an in-progress shot.
As usual, I've posted the finished drawing, and more, on this months posts for my supporters on Patreon and Ko-fi:

As promised: diffusion limited aggregation animation!
I had way too much fun doing the sound effects for this one.
Rendered in #Blender, edited in #DavinciResolve and music and sound made in #Ableton.
