So, years ago, when I was being taken to court over a debt that didn't belong to me, the #ConsumerProtectionAgency gave me enough information to be my own lawyer and have the case thrown out (the debt in question was under someone else's social security number, and I demanded to see the loan paperwork, which proved the loan wasn't mine. #CPA provides advice and help to ordinary citizens (not #megarich #techbros and orange #grifters)!

Thirdly, Maureen was sacked for her behaviour and then ‘a year later she won an out-of-court settlement’.
This is going on the list of weird admissions. I’m going to rate it above the ‘international author’ thing, way below the ‘hate crime’ thing, and maybe slightly below the ‘I support a different party than the one I’m standing for’ thing.

Suarez noted in his questioning that #Bender was the only #CPA compiling the documents, & that others involved like #AllenWeisselberg didn't have that level of expertise. (Um, he was the CFO - the Chief Financial Officer
