#FensterFreitag: I usually prefer to show one #window only, but with #Hundertwasser, it's impossible to pick one because almost every window is unique!

This is the "Green Citadel" (#GrüneZitadelle) in #Magdeburg, one of Hundertwasser's last projects. I love this #building, it's a great addition to the city, right next to the cathedral. It houses flats, a hotel, cafés and restaurants, small shops, and a great little theatre. It also features two beautiful courtyards (one with a fountain), and a public toilet that's also all Hundertwasser, including a fish tank. 😂 It looks a bit dreary in winter without the lush greens that are integral to Hundertwasser's design and philosophy. Expect more snaps later in the year to see all its #colourful glory!

A medium shot captures the whimsical and colourful facade of the Hundertwasserhaus (The Green Citadel) in Magdeburg, Germany. The building boasts an irregular and organic design, characteristic of Friedensreich Hundertwasser's architectural style. Mit diesen wunderschönen Fenstern aus dem Gyoen Park in Tokio letzte Woche gehe ich heute in den #Fensterfreitag, der nach Wochen auch mal ein freies Wochenende für mich einläutet. 🔔 Ding Dong 🔔 Ding Dong 🔔Nachher geht’s ab zur Family ins Knoblauchsland. Meine Sister geiert auch schon nach der Bärlauchbutter. 😂

Das Bild zeigt eine runde Fensteröffnung mit einem dunklen Holzrahmen. Im Inneren des Fensters befindet sich ein kunstvoll gestaltetes Muster aus schwarzen chinesischen Schriftzeichen, die durch das Glas sichtbar sind. Die Schriftzeichen sind in einem traditionellen Stil gehalten und verleihen dem Fenster ein dekoratives und kulturelles Element. Das Glas hinter den Schriftzeichen ist leicht verwaschen und lässt durchscheinendes Licht hindurch, was eine sanfte Beleuchtung erzeugt. Der Rahmen des Fensters ist aus dunklem Holz und hat eine glatte Oberfläche. Die Wand hinter dem Fenster ist weiß, mit einigen abgeplatzen Farbresten, die auf Alter oder Verwitterung hinweisen.
