But, ofc, oppression is how #tensegrity works.
The logic need not confront that. Needs only substitute any of a myriad of real ongoing oppressions with a premise that broken promises of "pivotal, highly anticipated experiences" are the true oppression.
This is #perquisitive #classposture. Unprepared to do the work of #mourning, the #FrosteanBargain colonialist recasts oppression as the denial of instrumental carrots.
Unfulfilled retrofuture promises only understood as a means of exploitation.

This is fundamentally at the root of the #tensegrity structure that is #RentierSociety.
Humans not as sheep—as is common veiled ableist refrain from all sects of the #KayfabePanto—but humans as pigeons, governed entirely by operant conditioning, instrumentalized by, and by extension instruments of, oppressive power.
Note that this logic need not deny the oppression of the people of Palestine. It need only assert that the students, children all, have been oppressed and are now seeking release.
