👉🏾 En la mina Apu Chunta, miles de agricultores quechua hablantes producen cobre por un valor de US$300 millones anuales. Las ganancias se reparten directamente entre la población de la comunidad campesina de Pamputa.

El problema 😬

🤔 En Perú, la propiedad de la tierra y los derechos sobre los minerales debajo de la superficie son independientes.

🤑 Los derechos sobre el subsuelo actualmente pertenecen a la gran mina de cobre Las Bambas, que los compró al estado peruano en 2004.

🥊 El resultado es una confrontación con MMG y el gobierno, que está preocupado por proteger a Las Bambas, la cual representa la inversión privada más grande en la historia del país.

🇨🇳 Las Bambas es una inversión de #China y es una de las minas grandes del mundo.
