OPEN CALL – Lesung NaturMensch

Auch in diesem Jahr veranstalten wir wieder im Rahmen des Kölner Klimafestivals unsere Lesung NaturMensch, dieses mal in Kooperation mit dem Allerweltshaus.

Dazu suchen wir vielfältige Texte zum Thema NaturMensch- Blicke in eine offenen Beziehung. Ob literarische Prosa, Essay, oder Lyrik, schickt uns eure Texte mit einer maximalen Vortragslänge von 7 Minuten bis zum 08. Juni.

Wir werden aus den Einreichungen Texte auswählen und  bis zum 22. Juni erfahrt ihr, ob  ihr euren Text bei der Lesung vortragen könnt. Wir freuen uns schon auf eure Blicke auf die offenen und spannende Beziehung zwischen Natur und Mensch.

Open Call - Lesung NaturMensch Plakat für die Veranstaltung "NaturMensch: Blicke in eine offene Beziehung," die im Rahmen des Kölner Klimafestivals am 09.07.2025 im Allerweltshaus stattfindet. Der Hintergrund ist in verschiedenen Grüntönen gehalten. Im Zentrum des Plakats befindet sich ein stilisiertes, grünes Blatt, auf dem zwei Gesichter in Linienzeichnung überlappen. Der Titel "Open Call" ist oben auf dem Bild platziert. "NaturMensch" steht in großen, weißen Buchstaben oben darunter. Darunter steht der Untertitel "Blicke in eine offene Beziehung" in etwas kleinerer Schrift. Weiter unten steht "Lesung im Rahmen der Kölner Klimawoche". Im rechten unteren Bereich des Plakats befindet sich ein Logo mit der Aufschrift "Parents 4 Future Köln" und "Allterweltshaus Köln".
NaturMensch OPEN CALL Das Bild zeigt eine grüne Werbeanzeige mit dem Titel "OPEN CALL NaturMensch" in großen, weißen Buchstaben. Darunter steht "Blicke in eine offene Beziehung" in kleinerer Schrift. Der Hintergrund ist in verschiedenen Grüntönen gehalten und zeigt eine stilisierte Darstellung von Blättern. Rechts oben ist ein kleine, weiße Gesichtskontur zu sehen. Der Text im Mittelteil lautet: "Die Natur ist uns voraus in ihrer Fähigkeit, das Leben immer wieder zu erneuern. Sie ist großzügig und erfinderisch. Darin scheint sie ein Versprechen zu geben: Als Paradies haben wir sie längst verlassen, doch der höllische Abgrund ist nicht ihre Absicht. Sie zeigt andere Pfade in die Zukunft. After last year's breezy topic Æther, our fifth annual compilation, re:natura #05 – Crescere asks crucial questions about the concept of growth. Derived from Latin Crescere (to grow – think Crescendo), we want to encourage you to dive deeply into the concept of growth in natural sciences with a focus on biodiversity. Ranging from reproduction and corporal development to population control, from invasive species to degrowth strategies, from metastases to social insects, we invite you to dig into a wealth of subtopics. Your submissions will feed into our ongoing research into the aesthetic and functional aspects of contemporary street library culture in the Netherlands and beyond. This research will serve as the basis for a forthcoming print publication.

Street libraries, or Minibiebs, as they are dubbed in Dutch, are a fascinating and often under-appreciated piece of urban technology. While some of them are built by schools, cultural institutions or even train station architects, the vast majority of Minibiebs are installed and maintained by individual volunteers.

Ranging from repurposed plastic crates or old pieces of furniture to elaborate, purpose built constructions, most Minibiebs are placed on public land. Owing to relatively generous spatial regulations, which tend to allow homeowners and tenants in most Dutch municipalities to make use of the space in front of their house, as long as it does not interfere with foot traffic, the hurdles for placing your own Minibieb are quite low.
