It's been a long time, so I'm going to make a new thread. Authors, are your books available in audio form? Thanks, and please boost! #writingcommunity

I'm working on a book of deeply computer-related poems, each paired with a vignette. I think they fit perfectly here in Mastodon!
This time around: Quantum Noths. Conversing with the Fates through messages sent in probability waves.

"Jaslan started [cleaning] at the top of the house. Their bedsheets needed to be washed, anyway."
And here, folks, is a prime example of the everyday things I do that make it into my novels. Can you guess what I did today?

As a separate note, this is also one of the reasons why I dislike the idea of using the same service provider for everything. Spread things out. Balkanize your Internet footprint. It might be a little less convenient, but it means that a single company, maybe even by a single mistake or a single failed card payment or someone successfully guessing a single password, can't *simultaneously* lock you out of, say, your (1) email, (2) documents, (3) passwords, and (4) phone.
July 28. How do you write sensory experiences that fall beyond the the usual five? Give an example.
One of the characters cast a Mind Reading spell (isn't that an example of what you call Extra Sensory Perception?). I treated the magically read thoughts as dialog.

Certainly not the first time Google has elected to remove someone's access to that person's own data!
And it's not like there are contact details easily available for how to get in touch with a human being to sort that out, or even just, you know, *get a friggin' archive that you can restore to some other service* or even locally on your own computer and keep working.
Basically, when this happens you're toast.
Own your data!
Absolute minimum: HAVE GOOD BACKUPS.
My grandfather got out of the car, and casually asked me to move it down the hill while he was inside the office. I was 12.
The first time I acted like an adult while feeling like a kid, but not the last.

unsupportive response?
Here’s the thing about no support…
I was abused. I’m still here. The Wyoming doctors came within a whisper of killing me. I’m still here.
I’m not only here, but I’m publishing, whether anyone reads my books or not.
Don’t tell me no, and don’t stand in my way. I may be fumbling more than I’m getting right, but I’m still moving ahead.
Given a second chance at life, I gave up coulda, shoulda, gonna.
I’m doing.
I think this Robin Hood story is going to be the best thing I’ve written in a while. I can’t wait to get it published, just waiting on some a few more beta reads to come back.
#eroticMusings Week 9 Character: How important is it for characters to be distinct from each other?
They have to be genuine individuals for the passion to resonate. That doesn't mean they're not allowed to have some physical or emotional similarities. The distinction is most prominent in behaviour and choices, which comes from character building. It's not something I use any system for. Other than writing more to get to know the characters.
