This is why remakes rarely work, especially the ones that seek to redress outdated originals.
If a character no longer aligns with its target audience - in this case young women - then the character needs to stay in the past.
#SnowWhite can't be a modern role model, a ny more than #JamesBond can. Just leave them alone.
And for God's sake write new #stories anyway. I'm so fed up with #remakes as a genre now.
And let #Ziegler and #Gadot take opposite positions. We can't draw the #FreeSpeech boundary where it suits us.
