Gleichzeitig ist die antifaschistische Bewegung mit harter staatlicher Repression konfrontiert: Viele Antifas sind in Haft oder entziehen sich drohender Strafverfolgung.</p><p>Seit gut 2 Jahren läuft im Nachgang antifaschistischer Interventionen gegen den sog. „Tag der Ehre“ in Budapest eine europaweite Welle der Repression. Zurzeit sind im „Budapest-Komplex“ 12 Personen inhaftiert - für zwei von ihnen, Gino und Zaid droht akut die Auslieferung nach Ungarn bzw. eine Abschiebung wegen fehlender EU-Staatsbürgerschaft. </p><p>Wir wollen mit Soli-Strukturen und Anwält*innen aus Frankreich und Deutschland über den aktuellen Stand der Verfahren und über (internationale) Herausforderungen der Anti-Repressionsarbeit sprechen. Februar sitzt der 21-jährige Nürnberger Zaid in Auslieferungshaft in der JVA Köln. Zwei Jahre lang war der junge Antifaschist untergetaucht und stellte sich am 20.01.2025 ebenso wie sechs weitere, im sogenannten Budapest-Komplex Beschuldigte, den Behörden. Zwei Jahre lang hat er sich dem Szenario entzogen, dass er und so viele andere befürchtet haben: eine Auslieferung in das rechtsautoritäre Ungarn. Eine Auslieferung in ein Land, das selbst vom Europaparlament nur noch als „Wahlautokratie“ bezeichnet wird, weil rechtsstaatliche Prinzipien, Pressefreiheit und der Schutz von Minderheiten nicht mehr gewährleistet sind. Für Zaid also eine doppelt gefährliche Situation: gegen ihn besteht lediglich ein Haftbefehl aus Ungarn und nicht aus Deutschland. "After five months in Fresnes prison, Rexhino “Gino” Abazaj, a 32-year-old Albanian anti-fascist activist, was released yesterday (March 26) under judicial supervision. He was arrested in Montreuil in November 2024 and faces up to 24 years in prison if extradited to Hungary for alleged violence against neo-Nazis. His case, which has triggered a broad mobilization of activists, trade unions and politicians, will be heard by the Paris Court of Appeal on 9 April.

While Hungarian authorities accuse anti-fascists of participating in a “criminal organisation” and committing violent acts., neo-Nazi participants in the same clashes were released without prosecution. Hungary’s vague assurances about detention conditions and trial fairness have also drawn sharp criticism."
