Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of the #CommanderX16 I've to admit and admite their progress...
Given that my Projects don't progress that fast, I've to admit that they did good...
Been playing around with #phpBB templating for a #CommanderX16 inspired theme. Yeah, throwing all proSilver code and compatibility to the trash bin, everything rethought from scratch.
- Only site header and footer in the screenshots
- Nothing hidden in dropdowns
- Keeping only the most relevant stuff at top
- Custom drawn logo SVG
- Reworked the "Pet Me" fonts so that I could convert them to webfonts (no permission asked yet)
I don't know if I ever finish this work, but have had some fun.
So yesterday I finally got my #Checkmate A1500 Plus computer case for my #CommanderX16 build! Of course I had to put it together immediately. Haven't been this excited of something for a good while!
Too bad I can't just yet enjoy of the thing, I need to spend my time to other stuff in the nearest future, but it sure is nice to have it ready for use now.
Certainly not the cheapest way to do retro, I haven't kept a perfect track but total likely not that far off from 1000 €.
