Just found out that CLAP plugins offer the DAW controls that it can layout for your controller, which of course Bitwig does.
SurgeXT automatically lays out it's 8 macros, scene mixers and filters.

That's seriously cool.

A weakness of the SFZ sampler format is that for normal humans, it is difficult to write the code required to do more than basic key mapping. Most SFZ files don’t include midi CC & modulation capabilities, because these are defined in the code

Solution: Use a synth or sampler plugin that doesn’t rely on SFZ for these things:

* TX16Wx
* TAL-Sampler
* Altitude
* Bliss
* Serum 2
* Falcon
* ….etc

The #linuxdaw library continues to grow, reflecting the development of #linuxaudio as a platform. Not only is the range of native #linux #plugin (s) growing, but also the maturity of #pipewire and #linuxdesktop itself. What are you using these days preferably when it comes to #plugin formats on #linux? CLAP, VST3, LV2 or VST? #linuxaudio
While I would like to give #clap the advantage, in my experience #vst3 plugins cause the least problems in conjunction with #bitwig.

How many #plugins do you have installed on your system? ️ I always remove the ones I do not use and currently sport the following numbers: #clap: 36 / #lv2: 22 / #vst2: 92 / #vst3: 104
If I subtract different variants of the same plug-in, I get 92 individual plug-ins. Feels like a lot to me! ️
