I don't think that music streaming can replace the joy of discovering new music you get when you buy an album on a CD because of one song you heard on the radio long ago and then listen to the whole CD without skipping tracks. You will often find other good songs on the CD that didn't get played on the radio.

I managed to revive #Hofa #ddpPlayer in #Wine.

There's #ddpTools on the command line that is easy to install on #UbuntuStudio #Linux, it is fairly easy to create a #DDP #CDimage for professional #CD manufacturing with it. For free, while other tools for doing this can be very expensive.

But there is only one native tool for Linux that allows you to check the result, which is DDP Tools itself. Doesn't make too much sense to me, because: of course the image by DDP Tools will pass the check of DDP Tools.

But what you want to avoid at any cost is something like having 1000 CDs that have some kind of error in them.

HOFA DDP Player V2 apparently is missing some font and looks rather rustic as a result.

Otherwise, it works well.
