Well, after something like a 2 year break, I'm working on this sweater again. The pattern is "Plumose" by Laura Barkla on ravelry, and it's my first time doing Fair Isle. Of course, I finished the actual Fair Isle section before I took a break from the project, so you get to see it completed. The yarn is 100% cashmere from Colourmart.

Being well and truly enabled by @thegiddystitcher, I am preparing to #knit my first pair of socks (with single coloured practice yarn, not this bougie one...yet)! Cast on and started wondering why I was struggling so badly with my first row. #Knitters. So I’ve been knitting every day in AM and PM since I took my first class a week and a half ago and it’s mind-clearing so I plan to continue even if I’m not good. My knit practice is too big for my longest needle. Do I switch to a circular needle? For this practice I’m just knitting something wide and long for the cats to snuggle on. This knitted scarf is a 1-skein kit from Stunning String Studio (the best kits) called “Singularity.” Used about 300 beads! Looks much better as a scarf than a shawl.
