8 Jahre ist es jetzt mittlerweile her, dass ich dort oben auf ca. 2.700m stand und diesen malerischen Sonnenuntergang erleben durfte. Es war der anstrengendste Auf- und Abstieg, den ich bisher erleben durfte, der von einer Woche Muskelkater begleitet wurde. Ein Glück war zu diesem Zeitpunkt meine Foto-Ausrüstung mit der ur-E-M5 mit dem Kit von Olympus noch superklein und superleicht.
Doch da oben zu stehen und sein Gipfelradler bei diesem Anblick genüsslich zu schlürfen hatte schon echt was.

A ne pas confondre avec "La neige" du même groupe, je viens de découvrir ce morceau et j'aime beaucoup moins. J'ai tendance à être assez conservateur quand il s'agit de musique (c'était mieux avant, surtout quand ça avait un goût de punk). ***

New 3D study shows meltwater driving fissures deeper into the glacial ice.
The study found that crevasses are expanding more quickly than previously detected, and somewhere between 50-90% of the water flowing through the Greenland Ice Sheet goes through crevasses, which can warm deeply submerged portions of the #glacier and increase lubrication between the base of the #icesheet and the bedrock it flows over.

Subitement, le temps s'était arrêté, les glaces s'étaient figées dans leur mouvement. On pouvait distinguer chaque détail de sérac, chaque nuance du gris vers le bleu, chaque variation locale de température. En arrière plan les brumes ricanaient : elles restaient insaisissables.

Le glacier avançait à son rythme, lentement, comme si le temps ne pressait pas. Derrière lui ça s'agitait, une eau bien plus volatile que ses glaces prenait l'air, les nuages trépignaient d'impatience.
