Yes, we are living in the future, fifteen years ago. But even back then, those who looked into the future were labeled as paranoid crackpots and negative propagandists, but they were right.

(I did wonder a bit why Marty McFly’s Great-great-grandmother Maggie looks like his mother… and also has the surname McFly…
Best not to think too much about it.)
Just finished watching Back To The Future Part III with two of the kids.
When I was a kid I thought it was the weakest of the three. There’s little time travel, and a good part of the runtime is dedicated to a love story.
However, I now think it really rounds off the trilogy. All the little callbacks are there e.g. Marty goes to the local spot, runs into a Tannen, has a chase around the town square.
And Buford “Mad Dog” Tannen is clearly the most credibly threatening of the various incarnations.
So yeah, great film series. Worthy of its iconic status.
40 years today since 'Back to the Future' was released back in 1985.
If we had a Delorean, a flux capacitor, and 1.21 gigawatts of electricity, we wouldn’t change anything about which movie won the 1986 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
#BackToTheFuture was released 40 years ago today …
