James S.A. Corey's 'Cibola Burn' is another gripping, fast-paced entry in their SF-adventure 'Expanse' series. I enjoyed it enormously.

I backed the recent Kickstarter for "The Expanse: A Little Death" so I figured it was a good time to finally dive in to the graphic novels and catch up.

Made progress in #HollowKnight, read a bunch of #TheExpanse's Cibola Burn, played some #DutchBlitz with friends, got a few #PhysicalGames in the mail, and other things!

2nd evening #astrophotography, first time with a Sky Watcher mount, my new Sony A7 IV and Sigma 400mm. Still very n00by, but I was amazed seeing Saturn's moons Ganymede, Europa and Callisto! Having watched #theexpanse, I know exactly what'll go down there in a few hundred years... 
I then went to try and shoot nebulae from my balcony in Zurich - but got nothing but light pollution.

It's a bit daft, isn't it?
The show - which supposedly does space correctly - loves people hurtling themselves into space.
It's a bit too James Bond for my liking. The chances of success in those situations are so slim. It's just a bit too unbelievable for my liking.
I have my limits, dammit!
Maybe one episode they'll do that space hurtling thing but do it on a motorbike that will land in a helicopter or something.
Also, one thing I don't get. The ships don't have artificial gravity, right? But sometimes it looks like they do have artificial gravity.
And when they definitely don't have artificial gravity, they don't look like their in zero G. They'd have their arms floating all over the place. There's no gravity, you don't need them to fall by your side. In fact, it might take more effort to hold them by your side.
Went to a used book store today that also sells dvds. They had The Expanse in the “Religion” section and yes that’s accurate shelving.

#TheExpanse fasziniert mich seit Jahren. Und bei Klemmbausteinevents musste auch mal was anderes als immer nur #LEGOStarWars da sei. Interessierte dann zwar nur 3-4 Leute, wars aber wert. Learning: Muss eitler sein & eigenes mehr fotografieren!

While I don't love #TheExpanse, my - most likely unpopular - opinion is that it is better than #Babylon5
The Rocinante from The Expanse as a birthday present for my mom :3
Im not great at vehicles/mechanical things, so this was quite a challenge. I’m not super pleased with the result, but she loves it, so that’s what really matters.
Another simple, logical thing from #TheExpanse is the shape of the shuttles (or skiffs) that ferry people between planetside and ships in orbit. Just a damn box with lower thrusters. No real fancy design. Get in, get out, go up, go down. Makes the show just that little bit more believable.
Unlike undersecretaries with voices that hit lower registers which can rattle solid oak doors, but hey. #agh #dash #loo
