NuTrek has grown on me, especially Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, so I grabbed a couple new kits before the inventory rolls over and prices go up ...

Most excited for the Ent 1701. I've seen other's build-ups and it's a great looking model.

Three model kits from Round2 models (AMT and Polar Lights branding). Top is the "Allies and Adversaries" set of various ships throughout the Star Trek franchise at 1:2500 scale. Middle is the Enterprise 1701 from Strange New Worlds at 1:1000 scale. And bottom is the U.S.S. Cerritos from Lower Decks at 1:1400 scale.

Paintwork on the deflector didn’t turn out too great, so I removed the paint, then used masking tape to create a template for a styrene version, painted it copper and glued it into place. Much better! #Duderstadt and #Cerritos have both been primered and mostly light blocked. Change of plans with the #Cerritos. Putting masking tape on for the windows around the saucer edge was a PITA, so I just drilled them out instead. Last night I noticed that one of the orange LEDs in the port nacelle wasn’t working, so I had to open it up, replace the bulb and close it back up.
