#github scheint gerade bei dem #OSCP Server meines unbekannten Vertrauens (in Librewolf/Firefox eingebacken) in Ungnade gefallen zu sein. Die Webseite von Github wird seit kurzem hier blockiert.

Hello kind people of Mastodon! Mastodon is a big part of my life, so I'm going to give finding work here a go as well.

I'm looking for a junior penetration tester or cyber security analyst role. Should you have any leads, or simply be able to provide info, please reach out.

To give you a thumbnail background sketch: I'm a former Lecturer in Anthropology pivoting to Cyber Security. I recently passed the #OSCP and loved it. I have interests in writing and advising to make pentesting more accessible, IoT pentesting, and purple team work.

While I am looking for a first role, I'm open to freelance, contract, and part-time roles. I'm located in Seattle, though remote is welcome.

Boosts will be noted and the favor returned in due course!

Thanks everyone.

Guess its time I do my #introduction, since it doesn't seem like I'll be going anywhere anytime soon.

**** BEGIN INTRO SECTION ****
I am a Network Security Engineer working mostly with Palo Alto automation using Python and doing internal Pentesting. I have the #oscp certification and are looking to expand on that area next year. Also learning #golang and #rust and recently taken a dive into the world of hardware tinkering.

Outside of that I love dogs (all kinds of animals too) and am proud dad of Lyra a black long coated #gsd. I also play piano and videogames.

There you are! Always happy to chat about anything.

Realized that I never did an #introduction so here goes.

My name is Chase or Charles from #Dallas i’ve been in #IT and #infosec for almost a decade. I started out in helpdesk in college and moved onto #appsec and then #DFIR and malware reverse engineering. After my stint on the #blueteam side of the house I moved to #redteam and #pentesting by getting my #OSCP and #OSCE and worked there for 4 years where I got to do a lot of fun stuff like write a #c2 and find a number of #0days. Now I’m the CTO of Vector0 where we are building an attack surface management platform.

Outside of work while at home I mainly spend time #gaming or doing projects around my house and spending time in my pool. Otherwise I try to get as far away from a screen as possible by traveling and hiking/camping in places where I can’t be reached.
