A federal bankruptcy court in Houston has rejected a deal that would have cleared the way for a second attempt to auction off Infowars conspiracist Alex Jones' media company.
"US Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez essentially told families who backed @theonion deal that they couldn’t have the deal they wanted. Instead, they may be forced to accept Jones’s weird and complicated sham deal where he gets to sell to a friendly party he’s already affiliated with, one that almost certainly would allow Jones to continue operating #Infowars."

The setback in the Onion's bid to buy Infowars stings on many levels. I am most upset for the families, but it was a little bit of a bright spot for so many people to see #Infowars taken down in such a creative way.
The system will always fail us so we must build our own cool/funny/just things.
