PORTLAND, Maine — "Maine-based groups took to the streets of Portland Saturday to protest the incoming Trump administration ahead of #InaugurationDay.

"#ThePeoplesMarch was hosted as a response to #Project2025, the far-right political roadmap that has been linked regularly to Donald Trump.

"'All people from all sides of the aisle, including Republicans and Democrats, have the duty to flag that #fascist policies are antidemocratic,' said march organizer Dania Bowie."
