For the children, we gave away Easter eggs in the #museum today. But we had to mark two coloured goose eggs which were only for decoration: 'not suitable for consumption'.
None of the staff could remember *when* our Rosalie had laid the egg. ‘At least a month ago!’ - No, it must have been muuuuch longer!' 😁

No problem, the chicken eggs and chocolate were fresh!

This crow and goose fighting woke me up this morning at like 6AM. I'll be real, I've never seen a goose and crow fight in Amsterdam. Must be a Rotterdam thing. They were still going at it, at 8:30ish. I didn't capture it in this video, but the crow started doing swoops in to kick the goose, but the goose eventually won the fight, sat down after the crow left and then.... the goose fucking left too! The goose and crow both left! What was the point of that?! Neither have a nest there!

My wife read about Gladys the Goose, who for the third year running had established her nest in a nearby town up against a storefront selling office furniture, right off the parking lot. Prospective visitors were warned not to get too close lest they get honked at. The website said Gladys will be in residence through April.

We went to visit Gladys today. The nest was gone though there were a few geese elsewhere on the property. It being Good Friday, hte business was closed and the parking lot empty.

It was an literal wild goose chase.
