An Epiphone Emperor T (thinline) electric guitar made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1981. It rests again a blue couch and the headstock is cast in shadow in the sunlight against the wall. The guitar has an antique sunburst finish, carved solid spruce top, maple back and sides, three piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, abalone and mother of pearl inlays on the fingerboard and an inlayed mother of pearl Epiphone "Vine of Life" design on the headstock.

A 1959 Rodebald Hoyer Jazzstar mahogany archtop guitar. The guitar has a 17” lower bout and a 3” depth. The top and back are hand-formed laminated mahogany, and it has solid natural maple sides. It features a five-piece multi-stripe neck in mahogany, maple and tulip wood with a large radius rosewood fingerboard. The guitar has faux tortoiseshell binding and a faux abalone suspended scratch plate. The headstock centre wedge is in red marbled pearloid with white marbled pearloid either side.
