If brain<>computer interface tech is viable, it should be capable of receiving signals from the brain through the skull. As a wearable device that is trivial to turn off and remove (or for some cyberpunks, a piercing?).
Doing it as an implant is idiotic. For the same reason building glasses or hearing aids into people's heads would be idiotic.
New research reveals the possibility of using thought alone to control speech, thanks to advancements in brain-computer interfaces. This breakthrough technology could revolutionize communication for those with speech impairments, offering new ways to interact and express themselves without physical speech. Exciting times ahead for neuroscience and assistive tech!
