The #Island #InselderJugend, with 1.8-hectare in the #Spree #River in #Berlin, belongs to the #AltTreptow locality, near the #Plänterwald #forest. Originally a shallow reed-covered hill, the island was enlarged with rubble since 1860 and got in 1916 one of the first steelcompositebridges in Germany. A #recreationalarea during the #GDR, it continues to offer recreation today, i.a. as beach bar and a natural semiarid #meadow.

Buongiorno Livello segreto! Chiedo un #aiutosegreto perché, se il destino lo vorrà, tra qualche settimana sarò a #Palermo per fare ricerca, e su internet non ho trovato nessuna info su associazioni di #gdr , #giochidatavolo o simili. Ieri la sessione #gdr mi ha un po' amareggiato.
Ho inserito un elemento che poteva portare un PG a scoprire alcune cose del suo passato (è un "mostro marino" che pensava di essere l'unico della sua specie) e, quando la "sorellina" ha chiesto di potersi bagnare, l'ha portata sul ponte della nave e l'ha invitata ad andare in acqua.
La creatura l'ha presa come un "sei libera" ed ha replicato "ok, quindi vado a casa...?"
Ed il PG ha risposto... "Ok, ciao".

• People didn't get conscripted into these forces, but volunteered!

Not to mention they had options:

• They could resign and file charges for being coerced or threatened into comitting obviously #illegal acts, but they chose not to.

IMHO they ain't no better than the "#GDR" border troops shooting at and killing people fleeing the "GDR" - in fact they way even be considered worse because ICE goes after are literally law abiding residents who get caught literally because the obeyed the laws, have kids they send to school, show up at work on time and don't miss official appointments like court dates!
