Could the UK actually get colder with global warming?

Of all the possible #climate futures, there’s a scenario where the UK & north-west #Europe buck the trend of global warming & instead face plunging temperatures & #freezing #winters.

It’s not the most likely outcome, but a number of scientists fear the chance of it happening is growing, & that the consequences would be so great that it deserves proper consideration

Our #Schefflerataiwaniana is really starting to look rather #magnificent in the garden.

I planted it 8 years ago, and it has survived everything that our horrid damp and cold #winters have thrown at it.

I have another #schefflera in a really sheltered position and love them.

I may have to get some more.
