"The changes are the latest attacks by the U.S. government on science and the funding of scientific research in an effort to slash the budget to enable tax cuts elsewhere. They kept coming up! So awesome. One undergrad (here for summer research) mentioned how hopeful this gathering and speakers made her.

We have a poster board with names of cancelled grants at #CarnegieMellon and #Pitt and paper for people to write down why they do, or how they've been affected by cuts to #Science or why it's important to them
