It seems each case and country/epoch could be quite unique, but perhaps there are shared aspects (for successful actions, as well as for flops). I'm wondering if there will be signs or necessary conditions to watch for here in the USA.
My main quibble with articles like this is the emphasis on #SocialDemocracy as a bulwark against rising #fascism. The claim has some utility but the #socialist left has always had better answers to the #WorkingClass insecurity that #AfD & #Trump exploit.
