Stefan, one of my 2 local volunteer models for a past themed fake film style warriors photo shoot in East Sooke. I conceptualized it & worked with Kristin Grant to create the bodypaint designs that I imagined in my head. She did a great job & it was a fun collaboration. She's now based in #Kelowna - check out her website:

The leather mask used here was handmade by local #LeatherCrafter - Rad Juli. I met Juli in the local indie artists community. We've collaborated on other photoshoots with some local burlesque performers. Juli is also a rad drummer & active in our local music scene.

CW - Jason Voorhees, fake murder scene, still shot

Kelly, as #JasonVoorhees
Cristina, as about to be murdered victim.

From my past Halloween themed photo studio fun group shoots party, in Rock Bay, where I had a work studio for awhile. I directed the group shoots & had set up 4 different shooting environment zones(1 outdoor & 3 indoors). We all had lots of pre-Halloween fun!

From my photography work archive.

#Amputee #Paralympian - Stephanie Dixon.
I had the opportunity to meet an amazing past multi #GoldMedalist Paralympian at PISE. Stephanie is an incredibly inspiring young woman who has not allowed her disability to impede her dreams. I have such respect and admiration for her and it was a great at-work experience for me.

She accomplished a record breaking Gold Medal achievement at the Beijing Olympics.

Developing #AnalogueFilm - #PhotoNegatives using #Caffienol - coffee based photo developer.
#Recipe we used yesterday is in photos with detailed AltText.

We did 1 batch for 1 minute. 2nd batch was 1.5 minutes. I think if we left it for 2 minutes, we'd see better contrasts in the negatives. The photo negative samples from both experimental batches are below.
