@Archivist @datarama @munin I think all drugs need #HarmReduction and that #criminalization prevents both proper information and access to care.
I'm not saying we should've #Fentanyl Vending Machines (instead we should have professionally staffed "Consumption Rooms" where there's not only trained personnel onsite able and ready to intervene when needed) but that the criminalization and it's effects are more harmful to society overall.
Only with a #legalzed access and #consumption will it be possible to enforce #ConsumerProtection, #QualityControl and #YouthProtection as well as offer support and relief where needed.
As for people harming others: That is sufficiently sanctioned in #PenalCode already!
It doesn't change the fact that a person gets charged for murder regardless if they used their bare hands, a bajonet, syringe or gun to kill someone.
Criminalization doesn't reduce access in the "Post-#Luty & Post-#GFC9" era, but merely makes it harder for investigators to find and match evidence pieces like the gun used.
Basically everything that doesn't inherently cause harm to individuals (i.e. violence), organizations (i.e. theft) or society as a whole (i.e. tax fraud & tax evasion) is a #VictimlessCrime per very definition.
