If there is a #God, you so-called #Christians sure must think he's #stupid judging by your actions.

Children used to grow up in a sheltered environment of #family and neighborhood – there was enough time to educate them and teach them values. The goal of #education used to be to impart the #values of the #culture. #Religion used to have an important influence on society and taught values that were altruistic at their core. We have sacrificed all of that to #mammon.
When the fundamental values of a culture lose their basis and are no longer shared by the majority of people, it breaks down.

We have sacrificed our #culture and our lives to #mammon.

We have subordinated our #culture to the #economy. We have surrendered it to marketing and the media. These pursue economic goals. Their messages, their entire communication is aimed at increasing the turnover of their employers. The means to this end is to influence as many people as possible. We have allowed ourselves to be turned into #consumers.

It won't be easy to escape from this trap.
