Today we had eggs for breakfast,
As is tradition.
Then we did gardening,
As the weather was nice outside.
Sue cleared out an old planter,
I cut the hedge.
Then I went to the Meeting House,
And ran a fire drill.
Stopped to talk with the Quakers,
Then home for a late lunch.
I watched a few videos,
Aiming to have a rest.
Then tried to test an old 12V winch,
But not really in the right head space.
Popped back to work,
And brought the bins out.
Hopefully there will be a collection tomorrow,
We'll see.
Back to watching videos,
And envious of Dominic Chinea's new home.

I wonder what that # tag is in Welsh?

Another bad night of sweats, so very tired.

Eggs for breakfast, and then I have to prepare for a lunch time fire drill at the Meeting House.

Work needs to know what the Quakers do when the fire alarm goes off. I think they will need some awareness training and a couple of them assigned as fire marshals.

I also need to check the car's hand brake. I think it is dragging a bit and making groaning noises when I pull away.

Today we packed all the tools,
And went to Levenshulme Repair Cafe.
There were lots of repairs done,
It was very hectic.
Home to sort out books,
And other stuff to give away.
Our friends visited,
And took away more stuff.
It was lovely to see them,
As always.
Had dinner with Mum,
Fried rice and dim sum.
Watched a few videos,
Now falling asleep.

Hopefully I won't be bringing back any more 'homework'.

Later this afternoon we have friends doing a flying visit to pick up some stuff from our basement.

Then we are having dinner with Mum this evening.

And started Mum's laundry.
I went to meet Sue at work,
And vacuumed the church.
At home I vacuumed again,
And then boxed up a load of electrical stock.
After lunch I was so exhausted,
I went back to bed for a sleep.
Went to do caretaking,
And cleaned the Meeting House.
Checked on Mum,
And checked a delivery of nails.
Watched some videos,
But falling asleep.

I am off to meet Sue at work in a little while, and then I need to do a bit more workshop tidying.
We have a Levenshulme Repair Cafe tomorrow, so the chair I repaired can go and live in the car over night.

Today we loaded far too many tools,
And went to the community workshop.
I repaired the damage to the gates,
From the attempted break in.
After lunch we tackled a #RepairCafe job,
And broke apart a badly glued tile.
Cleaned the glue off the edges,
And repaired it properly.
Fell asleep on the sofa,
But had to get up to do caretaking.
So very exhausted,
And nearly didn't manage #MakersHour.
That's enough for now,
Nodding off already.

We are off to the community workshop this morning.
I will be repairing the gates to the Forest school, damaged in an attempted break in.

Then we have #MakersHour this evening. Not sure if I have enough borrowed spoons to get past lunch time as yet.

Today I really struggled to wake up,
So exhausted that I overslept.
Did the bins,
And then met Sue at work.
Did the church bins,
And mopped the floors.
Went to visit a client,
And replaced a rotten planter with a new one.
Caught up on some chat,
But falling asleep with exhaustion.
Went to the Community Forest School,
To inspect damage following an attempted break in.
Sorted out tools for that repair,
And planning some improved security.
Changed the cranks on Mum's exercise bike,
They are now shorter.
Did caretaking,
And the Meeting House bins.
Watched a couple of videos,
Too tired to do much more.

I am off to meet Sue at work in a moment , and then we are off to another job, installing a planter to replace one that has rotted away.

Today we took Mum shopping,
And I managed to shut the car tailgate on my finger.
Sorted out some larch boards for a job tomorrow,
And set about applying green preservative.
The larch doesn't need it,
But it will match the existing for the client.
Started loading the car,
And put the roof rack on.
Could smell burning,
Mum had burned food in the microwave.
Loaded 20 bricks into the car,
More stuff out of the house.
It will go to the client tomorrow,
I wonder is she wants more?
Did some spray painting,
Then did caretaking.
Had enough today,
Really fed up and in pain.

We are taking Mum shopping this morning, then I need to be back in the workshop to prepare stuff for a planter build tomorrow.

Hopefully it won't be too busy and hectic, and I can find time to think about other bits or tidying and clearing that is much needed.

Today I started clearing the workshop,
I moved a load of oak into the shed.
I sorted a load of rubbish,
And collected together the WEEE waste.
Sue got some fabric waste bagged up,
And we went to the tip.
Then I started building an exhibition diorama,
It's great having access to the table saw again.
Got a base board and sides made,
It all knocks down easily for transport.
Got stuff together for Miniatures Club,
Out in a mo and back home late.
So calling it a day now,
#NosDa.

I need to do some tidying in the workshop. I keep saying this but I have to start making another diorama (this one for exhibition) and have something to show for it at Miniatures Club tonight.

I also need to start getting some timber and stuff together for a planter job on Wednesday.

Today we had eggs for breakfast,

And then I put the commercial bins out at work.
We took Mum out to the Chinese Cash and Carry,
And came back with some treats for her.
I tried to put some spare fuel in the car,
But had to buy a special funnel from Ebay.
Then decided to 3D print a carpet clip,
To stop the car mat moving about.
Did laundry,
And put it all away.
Put the spare fuel in the shed,
Then had to fix the shed door lock.
Had dinner with Mum,
Roast chicken for her birthday.
Now catching up on videos,
But very tired.

Eggs for breakfast! I have laundry in the machine, too, and we're going to pop out to the Chinese cash and carry to get Mum some pork buns (if they have any).

I will rest a bit for the rest of the day, but if I can I want to get a bit more clearing out done in the workshop, or at least plan where to clear some things out to as a temporary holding area.

Today we had a full English breakfast,
And then cleared MiL's kitchen.
Installed her new breakfast bar,
And helped her repopulate it.
Moved her old table into the garage,
And tidied up.
Checked her patio door locks,
And her mobile phone.
Had tea and lunch in the garden,
The weather was glorious!
Caught up with some reading,
While Sue did some gardening.
Removed the oak top from her garden table,
It needs a clean and refresh.
It has a maker's mark underneath.
One I made for her 12 years ago.
Drove home,
Why can't other car owners learn to drive?
Very tired now,
Exhaustion is catching up with me.

I made the mistake of accidentally deleting all my notifications this morning, so I have no idea if anyone has tagged me in anything.

Oh well.

We're having breakfast with MiL, before installing her breakfast bar thingy, and seeing if her garden strimmer works.

Today I have overslept,
But up to strip the bed.
Put the laundry on,
Then rushed into work.
Back home to sort out tools,
And to clear a bit more stuff from the workshop.
Sorted out my food in a bag,
And packed an overnight bag.
Put sheets and pillow cases back on the bed,
Then went out to jet wash the car.
Home to vacuum the car interior,
It is really filthy in there.
Put the duvet back on the bed,
And made sure all the cold food is packed.
Now ready to head off,
See you all later.
