#Drones and #Missiles are a very good option for the #ADF as these can be manufactured locally and be legislated as #defensive weapons and/or #deterrence armament only. Thus paving the way for complete #Australian independence from military alliances.

Mind, this would also involve building mobile ICBM-range weapons with conventional warheads to be truly effective as a deterrent. We might then have to boost our ground forces but need no spend so much on naval plaforms except for #BorderForce. The air forces would be involved in the larger missile and transform its tactics to work with larger drones (UAV) like #wingman etc.

But in the long run, cheaper, more secure, more effective ADF and totally independent of any other nation. No AUKUS needed, ever.

I like this option.
