@rchusid @jeremy_list Granted there are no perfect people. However, given the two choices currently being offered, #Biden is more palatable. I don't see a lot of people jumping at the bit to take the reins. What #normal #decent person would subject themselves to the scrutiny and constant bashing from anyone with a public forum?

To #Romney, this was the problem w/the #Trump-era #GOP. He believed there were still #decent, well-intentioned ldrs in his party….

Perhaps Romney’s most surprising discovery upon entering the #Senate was that his #disgust w/#Trump was not unique among his #Republican colleagues. “Almost w/o exception, they shared my view of the president.” In public… they played their parts as #TrumpLoyalists, often contorting themselves rhetorically to defend the president’s most #indefensible behavior.
