Well just I opened up Bluesky again, and two of the first three posts on my Discover page were "Twitter bad."
Is that all you have? Being...not Twitter? That won't last long!
Auch man man hier #bluesky möglicherweise eine positive Intention unterstellen kann: Die Entscheidung, ein Modul zu unterstützen oder eben nicht, deutet auf wenig offene und nicht dezentrale Strukturen dort hin.
One neat thing about #Bluesky is that people are building tools like these for transparency that can be picked up by individual users: https://bsky.app/profile/hipstersmoothie.com/post/3lbl2lgnq7c2f
On Fedi, this would have to be implemented at an instance or app level, I'd presume?
Fascinating.

There's nothing special on #bluesky ... I posted a pic and they flagged me for NSFW artworks...My man... I lost all my interest so quickly... And it wasn't even dirty!!!
"I will never again devote my energies to building up an audience on a platform whose management can sever my relationship to that audience at will."

I read today that people are running to #bluesky . For the record I'm on everything except X.
I also read that Mastodon's user base has shrunk from around 2.5 million to around 1 million, while Blue sky is over 20 million.
Thoughts?
Is Blue sky just the latest shiny thing?
Twitter’s heir apparent isn’t X or Threads — it’s Bluesky
Bluesky seems to have a real shot at becoming the next big place to get the pulse of the internet.

Part of the interest in Bluesky is that it looks and feels like a better version of Twitter. But with Bluesky, it also feels like you can control your experience in the app.

So much bashing bluesky for no reason. It's just another social media platform. I mean... What's the big deal?
Nobody cared about Gab.
So why this?
People are on Gab because twitter's biased inconsistent moderators kicked them out.
People left twitter for Bluesky did so out of choice.
They are all echo chambers.
Their rules are interchangeable.
LET US communicate with each other without verbal abuse or trying to get other people cancelled, please.
Why am I seeing, in my normal timeline, posts from a bridged bluesky account that I am not following?
And also when I try to mute it (just mute, not block) it says that this will block all of the bridge domain (bsky.brid.gy) and remove my followers from that domain, when I just want to mute the 1 account
Oh and also the posts are shown as being 8y old

Another small job done - I've just updated the social links on my personal site (https://www.annasplace.me.uk) to replace #Twitter with #Bluesky.
The #Mastodon link is already there, of course!
My favorite reply comes from Kye Fox, who indirectly called me a grognard.
This comment really drives home these people's belief that they are the unquestionable leaders of the "social internet revolution," and anyone who challenges their self-appointed authority can simply be ignored.
Imagine if they had actual power.
