I spoke to someone today who grew up on a farm and she told me “farmers really love and take care of their animals”.
I felt like saying “I know this teacher who really loves and takes care of his students, then at the end of term he cuts them into little pieces and barbecues them, isn’t that lovely?”
Still fuming about this person I spoke to. She said “I eat meat and that’s my personal choice and it only affects me”.
Erm I think you’ll find it affects every innocent animal you kill to satisfy your taste buds, and it will also affect generations of humans to come who have to suffer through the devastating consequences of climate change, of which animal agriculture is a leading cause.
Oh look, the Grand National are making extra safety changes - reducing the number of horses competing, moving fences, changing pre race details - after a horse died last time.
Oh wasn’t the protest to blame for the death?! I guess not…
Sickening. The whole thing should be cancelled. Animals are not our play-things, they are living creatures and deserve their freedom.
