“thousands of dogs (and cats) will be brutally slaughtered this month at the Yulin Dog Meat Festival”
Ok this is terrible. But why is the average Westerner appalled by this, but totally fine with slaughtering billions of pigs, cows, chickens, lambs, fish, etc? It’s just hypocrisy.
Don’t slaughter anything. Go #vegan

@shauny it's this double morale that has developed due to personal and emotional attachment to these animals.
That's it, people are just attached to the species for one reason or another.
Logically, you'd have to either go vegan, argue for doing the opposite, or fight for change because it's an endangered species to not be hypocritical in this situation.
@shauny Anyways, great point!
@simmagolda @shauny right. Addiction to a way of thinking
@shauny People are always looking over the fence at other gardens and say that they are messed up, standing in their own messed up garden.
I always tell people to clean up in front of their own door instead of pointing with fingers on others.
But the problem is... they don't get it!
@shauny Although this a point that we as vegans can exploit to advocate for the rights of other animals, we should still be more bothered about the killing of the dogs. Is this really unstoppable?
