Erichthonios was born to Athena and Lahabrea. Later, Athena gave Pandaemonium life in an act of mad science. (Both characters do consider Athena their mother.)
Are Eric and Pandaemonium half-brothers, or something else? Basically I'm asking which is *more fundamental* to the definition of "half-sibling":
Or maybe even... Since Erichthonios shares Pandaemonium's mother but also has a second, different parent, Eric is Pandaemonium's half-brother... but since all (one) of Pandaemonium's parent is also Eric's parent, Pandaemonium is Eric's full brother?
Help. I'm between patches with nothing to do.
@november I'd say "half-sibling" implies an even number of parents. I would, therefore, say that the term doesn't apply at all but, if you were to force it to apply, I'd say Eric is Pandaemonium's full-brother (all of Pandaemonium's parentage applies to Eric) while Pandaemonium is Eric's half-brother (half of Eric's parentage applies to Pandaemonium). You could side-step all that by just referring to them as brothers.
@StarkRG Yeah I usually do just that! Someone I was talking to got confused about it and I went "well, technically they're half-brothers" and then that one little part of my brain went "are you sure about that?"
