A friend was sad and busy yesterday, so I cooked dinner for her and her daughter. One less thing for her to worry about. I made Cuban black beans, sautéed carrots and parsnips, and massaged kale salad with walnuts and raisins. The Nordic rye bread is fresh from Boulted Bread. Of course, I made enough for me and my Taster. This may look like a *lot* of food, but we use 8.5” plates. She texted “You are truly a rejuvenator!” #VeganFood #friendship
