It's just exhausting.</p><p>My prime reason for responding though, is to fly a tiny flag for two points that were not mentioned in the article, &amp; are commonly never mentioned in most similar articles. </p><ol><li>The use of "trans" &amp; the general nature of the discussion when not discussing the specifics of this particular case, seems basically <em>heteronormative</em> in that it focuses on interactions of cis males with trans girls or trans women. It would be so nice to at least sometimes read, in any of these articles, acknowledgement that some of us transwomen despise men, have no interest in them, &amp; are only interested in <em>other women</em>. </li><li>Another trope used in this article the same as so many others i see, is the often implicit but sometimes explicit scenario of the trans woman still being <em>cursed</em> with a penis [my words ofc, not the article's].
