Swede’s Photographs<p>Light as a Feather</p><p>For some reason, the song Tiptoe Through the Tulips, from the 1960s, popped into my head. I know—there are no tulips in the image. Maybe it’s because the cardinal appears to tiptoe up the slender branch. I couldn’t recall who sang the song, so I looked it up. Turns out, it was Herbert Khaury, better known as Tiny Tim. However, the song was actually written much earlier, in 1929, by Nick Lucas, with Tiny Tim later covering it.
