🇨🇦 robyn 💜<p>So I recently stumbled upon <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.lol/@binarydigit" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>binarydigit</span></a></span> 's awesome website, which rekindled my interest in setting up something similar. For me it would be a simple blog where I share stupid and silly stuff, like "which <a href="https://yeg.bike/tags/retroHandheld" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retroHandheld</span></a> do we like" or "my <a href="https://yeg.bike/tags/PopOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PopOS</span></a> did a weird thing and here's how i fixed it". Like the <a href="https://yeg.bike/tags/web" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>web</span></a> of yore.</p><p>I've bought a domain and am going to use a static site generator. Bryan (he/him) 🇺🇸 🏳️‍🌈<p>Just a reminder to why corporate GNU/Linux distros are a bad idea. This is an older video by <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://learnlinux.social/@jay" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>jay</span></a></span> that I still think is very relevant. We should always support FOSS, especially community made distros. Corporate decisions, like Red Hat's shift with CentOS Stream, often demonstrate how business priorities can compromise open-source principles and community autonomy. That is why I won't use Ubuntu, Fedora, Pop_OS!, Tuxedo OS, or any other corporate backed distro. Now, Intel is just ending Clear Linux OS, further highlighting this vulnerability.</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqfyM7zE6KM" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">youtube.com/watch?v=fqfyM7zE6KM</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/GNULinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNULinux</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/GNU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNU</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/IBM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IBM</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Redhat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Redhat</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/CentOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CentOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Intel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Intel</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/ClearLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ClearLinux</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Canonical" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Canonical</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/PopOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PopOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fedora</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/TuxedoOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TuxedoOS</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Snap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Snap</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Debian</span></a></p>
