And user want to access these groups in one place, not several, they want the possibility to create them to just be there, not to have to code or integrate.

Jason Pettus :blobnom:Although it mostly worked flawlessly, the two big bummers about <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/migrating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#migrating</a> a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Mastodon</a> account is that you can't bring over your posts from your previous account (even though the software lets you export the posts????), and you also have to recreate all your filters. After five years at my old account, I had something like 200 filters set up, and now at my new account I'm being reminded all over of why I need to set them up again.

NekomancerNina 🐈‍⬛My <a href="https://veganism.social/tags/experiences" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#experiences</a> <a href="https://veganism.social/tags/migrating" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#migrating</a> to another Mastodon <a href="https://veganism.social/tags/instance" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#instance</a> (so far): 1) It's less scary than I thought! 2) The tutorial was easy to follow. 2) Finding your followed accounts is easy, IF you exported your following accounts list. 3) The migration progress takes care, that almost all of your old followers follow your new account and unfollow the old one.Problems I ran into:1) Migration didn't work, until I set up a redirect on my old profile for a couple of minutes. 2) Followers from some instances didn't automatically follow in the migration process, like climatejustice.social 3) I'm unable to follow any previously followed accounts from mastodon.art and uwu.socialIf any of you knows a solution to my unsolved problems, I'd be incredibly grateful! 🥰
